Credential disclosure via plaintext integration-configuration logging
Published Dec 20, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Sensitive-information exposure in Aiven Journalpump before 2.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to read integration credentials. The logging path writes each service integration configuration in plaintext to its configured pipeline without excluding secret-bearing fields. Exposure requires low-privileged access to that pipeline and is limited to configuration data and embedded credentials.
