Authenticated event-data disclosure via unrestricted ListEvents API
Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper privilege management in Amazon Web Services Sandbox Accounts for Events before 1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read event data. The end-user API permits the ListEvents operation and returns event-management metadata without restricting results to events available to the caller. Any authenticated participant can obtain planned-event dates, budgets, owner email addresses, and identifiers that permit joining uninvited events.
