Command execution via unvalidated SSH expansion tokens

OS command injection in Siemens S7-1500 1518 MFP firmware V3.1.5 and later allows remote attackers to execute shell commands. The embedded OpenSSH client expands attacker-controlled user or host names through %u, %h, or similar tokens in ProxyCommand, LocalCommand, or Match exec without first rejecting shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires one of those directives and attacker influence over an SSH destination, such as a malicious Git submodule.
