Buffer overflow in Delta Electronics WPLSoft 2.42.11 allows remote attackers to execute code by inducing a user to open a crafted DVP file. The public advisory identifies DVP-file processing as the trigger but does not disclose the parser locus or unchecked memory operation that overruns the buffer. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-supplied project file and can compromise data and interrupt the application.
