Browser script execution via stored friendship link
Published Apr 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Heyewei JFinalCMS 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted friendship link. The friendship-link component stores an HTML-breaking image payload and later renders its event handler without neutralizing the supplied markup. Attackers need access to the friendship-link input, and a user must view the stored link before script execution can affect the user’s browser session.
