CVE-2023-5122Network attack vector

Server-side request forgery via bare-host URL handling

Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

SSRF in Grafana CSV Datasource before 0.6.13 allows remote authenticated users to make the server request unintended URLs. When an administrator configures a bare-host URL with no path, the plugin accepts a crafted query that changes the requested endpoint instead of confining it to that URL. Any Grafana user can reach the flaw only when that configuration exists, exposing data returned from destinations accessible to the server.
