Stored XSS via unsanitized form redirect URL
Published Nov 20, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in WPMU DEV Forminator before 1.27.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a form redirect URL. The redirect-url setting accepts a javascript URI without neutralizing its scheme, then redirects form submitters to that value. An administrator or similarly privileged user without unfiltered_html access must configure the redirect, and the script runs when another user submits the form.
