Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Information disclosure in ZKTeco BioTime 8.5.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read employee records through a web API. The personnel employee-search endpoint returns names, employee IDs, photographs, and other employee data without authentication or authorization checks. The public PoC reports no login requirement, although CISA's CVSS assessment assigns low privileges; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
