Arbitrary file disclosure via symbolic-link upload

Directory traversal in FLIR AX8 firmware 1.46.16 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through a crafted upload. The upload handling accepts a specially crafted symbolic-link file without properly restricting access to the link target, exposing files outside the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is disclosure of sensitive file contents.
