Published Sep 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Cross-site scripting in osCommerce 4.12.56860 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The /admin/specials-types/save endpoint processes specials_type_name[1] without neutralizing HTML and JavaScript before browser rendering. Access to the administration interface and a user loading the affected output are required; execution is confined to that user's browser context.
