Authenticated script execution via reflected URL parameters
Published Jan 13, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in QStar Archive Solutions RELEASE_3-0 Build 7 Patch 0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. The log-smblog-popup endpoint reflects its l parameter, while show-usermgmt-user reflects its user parameter without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires valid application access and a victim to follow a crafted link; injected script runs in the vulnerable site's browser context.
