Unauthenticated command execution via firmware upload
Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
Command execution in TOTOLINK EX1200L Firmware 9.3.5u.6146_b20201023 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary commands via HTTP. The cstecgi.cgi UploadFirmwareFile interface exposes the firmware-upload path so attacker-controlled input reaches command execution. No authentication or user interaction is required in the published CVSS assessment; network access to the extender can therefore affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
