Unauthenticated command execution via apcliChannel injection
Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
OS command injection in TOTOLINK EX1800T 9.1.0cu.2112_B20220316 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via apcliChannel. The setWiFiExtenderConfig handler in cstecgi.cgi incorporates the apcliChannel value into an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. No authentication or user interaction is required; the executed commands can alter device state or interrupt service.
