Unauthenticated command execution via lanGateway injection
Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in TOTOlink EX1800T 9.1.0cu.2112_B20220316 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via lanGateway. The cstecgi.cgi setLanConfig interface uses the attacker-controlled lanGateway value in command processing without rejecting injected shell syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, so network access to the management interface permits compromise of device data, settings, and availability.
