Unauthenticated command execution via lanPriDns injection
Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in TOTOlink EX1800T firmware 9.1.0cu.2112_B20220316 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via network requests. The setLanConfig handler passes the lanPriDns parameter to cstecgi.cgi without neutralizing command metacharacters, enabling shell command execution. The CVSS record describes unauthenticated network reachability with confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact; no user interaction is required.
