Memory corruption via oversized ping address parameter
Published Dec 20, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stack overflow in setPing in Tenda i29 firmware 1.0.0.5 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through a crafted ip parameter. setPing accepts an oversized ip value and writes beyond its stack buffer; the public report does not identify the exact copy operation.
