Memory corruption via crafted lanGw parameter
Published Dec 20, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Buffer overflow in Tenda i29 firmware 1.0.0.2 and 1.0.0.5 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted lanGw value. The lanCfgSet function writes attacker-controlled lanGw data beyond the bounds of its destination buffer. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient, and the corruption can crash the service or alter its execution.
