Cleartext transmission in IBM PowerSC MFA 1.3, 2.0, and 2.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data via HTTP downgrade. The MFA web interface omits the Strict-Transport-Security response policy, so browsers can accept later cleartext HTTP connections after a secure visit. Exploitation requires a network position capable of inducing or observing an HTTP downgrade; the reported consequence is disclosure, not data modification or service interruption.
