Hard-coded AFM credentials in IBM Storage Fusion HCI 2.1.0 through 2.6.1 allow remote attackers on an adjacent network to disclose secrets. Active File Management authentication relies on default credentials, but IBM has not disclosed where the secrets reside or how attackers obtain them. The attack requires access from an adjacent network and affects confidentiality only, with no reported ability to alter data or interrupt service.
