Authenticated audit-log disclosure via missing ACL constraints
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper access control in MISP before 2.4.182 allows remote authenticated users to read audit logs outside their authorized scope. AuditLogsController::admin_index applies search filters without restricting results by the caller's user or organization identifiers. The affected new audit-log feature is disabled by default; when enabled, non-site-admin users can obtain audit entries beyond the records permitted to their account.
