Remote code execution in Meow Apps Media File Renamer 5.7.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP on the server. The media-file rename workflow accepts an uploaded file containing PHP code and renames it to an executable PHP filename without rejecting the dangerous type. Administrator access is required, and successful exploitation permits a persistent backdoor or other PHP code to run in the WordPress server context.
