Authenticated code execution via crafted Groovy project
Published Mar 26, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Code injection in Janitza GridVis 9.0.66 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to execute arbitrary Groovy code. The ServerDatabaseProject loader exposes dangerous methods and executes a specially placed, user-controlled Groovy script while loading a project. Administrative authentication and submission of a crafted project are required; successful exploitation grants code execution on the GridVis host.
