Unauthenticated information disclosure via exposed debug log
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Information disclosure in ProfilePress 4.13.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read a publicly accessible debug log. The plugin writes system errors and potentially sensitive details to a predictably named log file without blocking unauthenticated web access. No account or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to information recorded in that log.
