CVE-2023-50881Network attack vector

Contributor stored XSS via unsanitized input

Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in Advanced Access Manager through 6.9.15 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via an untrusted plugin parameter. The affected parameter is insufficiently sanitized on input and escaped on output, so injected JavaScript is stored and runs when a user opens the affected page. Contributor-level access and a victim viewing that page are required; the documented impact includes script execution with changed-scope confidentiality and integrity effects.
