CVE-2023-50878Network attack vector

Admin action forgery via missing nonce validation

Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Cross-Site Request Forgery in MStore API through 4.10.1 allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings via forged administrator requests. The mstore_update_status_order_message action and administrative dashboard file lack effective WordPress nonce validation, allowing a forged request to upload an Apple key file when an administrator is induced to interact with it. Exploitation requires administrator interaction with attacker-controlled content; reported impact is unauthorized state change rather than direct data disclosure.
