Improper authorization in JetBrains YouTrack before 2023.3.22268 allows remote authenticated users to modify inline comments in thread replies. The thread-reply inline-comment path omits the authorization check that should restrict changes to permitted users. A low-privileged account can therefore alter inline-comment data without the required permission; no confidentiality or availability impact is reported.
