Database disclosure via insufficiently prepared SQL query
Published Dec 28, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in Welcart e-Commerce 2.9.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Editor access to read database data. Public advisories identify insufficient escaping and query preparation for an undisclosed user-controlled parameter, but do not name the affected file or function. Editor-level access to the WordPress site is required, and successful requests can append SQL to existing queries and extract sensitive information.
