CVE-2023-50811Network attack vector

Cross-reception control via mutable reception identifier

Published Mar 19, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Incorrect authorization in SELESTA Visual Access Manager 4.38.6 allows remote authenticated users to control other reception stations. The application accepts a client-controlled computer POST parameter as a reception identifier without verifying the account's assigned reception. Low-privileged network access is required, and changing the identifier grants control of additional receptions without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
