Authentication bypass via unchecked NAS format types

Improper authentication in Samsung Exynos baseband software allows remote attackers to bypass authentication using crafted NAS format types. The baseband parser fails to validate format types supplied by the Non-Access-Stratum module before using them in authentication processing. Network reachability and crafted NAS signaling are required; the reported consequence is unauthorized access without data modification or service interruption.
