Net-NTLM hash capture via remote image rendering
Published Jul 5, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
Authentication bypass in Dradis Community Edition 4.16.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture Net-NTLM hashes. Issue and evidence markup accepts attacker-controlled remote image URLs, so a viewer's browser fetches the resource and silently answers an NTLM challenge. An author account and a Windows domain victim who views the prepared content are required; the captured response supports credential relay for unauthorized access.
