Groovy script disclosure via unchecked HTTP endpoint
Published Dec 13, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins Project Scriptler 342.v6a_89fd40f466 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read stored Groovy scripts. The doShowScript HTTP handler calls ScriptHelper.getScript(id, true) and forwards the returned source to a view without checking Scriptler or item permissions. Any account with Overall/Read and a valid script ID can disclose that script's full contents, but the flaw does not grant script modification or execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
