CVE-2023-50740Network attack vector

Oracle database password disclosure via log output

Published Mar 6, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Sensitive-data logging in Apache Linkis DataSource 1.4.0 and earlier allows attackers to read Oracle database passwords from logs. The Oracle path in the Linkis data-source module writes the configured database password into its log output when the Oracle data source is used. Exposure requires the optional data-source services, an Oracle configuration, and access to the resulting logs; the disclosed credential can permit database access.
