Unrestricted file upload in Traccar Server before 5.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through its File feature. The File feature accepts an attacker-controlled upload path without sanitizing traversal sequences and permits dangerous file content, allowing writes or overwrites outside the intended directory. Exploitation requires high-privilege authentication and user interaction; successful code execution inherits the server process privileges, often root on upstream Linux installations.
