Reflected XSS via unescaped queue form action
Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Reflected XSS in Resque before 2.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a resque-web user's browser. The /queues route inserts the current_queue path value into a form action without HTML escaping, allowing crafted markup to break out of the attribute. Exploitation requires access to the interface and a user to follow a crafted link; script runs in that user's web origin and can read or alter accessible data.
