CVE-2023-5056

Cross-namespace deployment disclosure via overprivileged service account

Published Dec 18, 2023 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Missing authorization in Red Hat Service Interconnect 1.0 allows remote authenticated users in an adjacent cluster to view deployments cluster-wide. A vulnerable Skupper Operator configuration creates a service account whose deployment-read permissions span every namespace rather than the site's namespace. Exploitation requires authenticated access from a linked adjacent cluster and discloses deployment metadata without granting modification or service interruption.
