Credential interception via unchecked LDAPS certificates

Improper certificate validation in AREAL Topkapi Vision Server 6.2.4718 and earlier allows remote attackers to intercept LDAP credentials. The LDAPS component in Novell and Synology modes establishes TLS connections without verifying the LDAP server certificate, accepting a man-in-the-middle endpoint. Exposure requires Novell or Synology LDAPS and an attacker positioned on the network path; Active Directory LDAP/LDAPS is unaffected, and interception can disclose usernames and passwords or block valid logins.
