CVE-2023-50349

Unauthorized actions via forged Proxy REST requests

Published Feb 9, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in HCL Sametime 11.5 through 12.0.1 FP1 allows context-dependent attackers to invoke Proxy REST API actions. HCL identifies the locus as some Sametime Proxy REST APIs but has not published the affected endpoints or the precise request-validation failure. Exploitation requires a user to interact with attacker-controlled content, and resulting actions execute with that user's application authority.
