Adjacent-network information disclosure via HTTP error handling
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Information disclosure in D-Link G416 firmware 1.08b02 and earlier allows network-adjacent attackers to read sensitive data via HTTP. The httpd service on TCP port 80 mishandles exceptional conditions while processing requests, causing sensitive information to be returned; the precise failing code path is undisclosed. Authentication is not required, but access to the router's adjacent network is required; the disclosure alone does not provide code execution, although it can support a separate exploit chain.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
