Man-in-the-middle interception via improper certificate validation

Improper certificate validation in Fortinet FortiADC allows remote attackers to intercept selected outbound server connections. Fortinet states that the device fails to validate certificates correctly when connecting to private SDN connectors, FortiToken Cloud, and other remote servers, but does not identify the responsible process or function. An unauthenticated attacker must hold a man-in-the-middle network position; successful exploitation exposes or alters traffic on those channels without interrupting service.
