Code execution via unfiltered backend SQL query
Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

A backend POST query passes unfiltered through DoExecSql to DoRunQuery, which executes the supplied statement directly and permits SELECT INTO DUMPFILE to write a PHP file. Administrative privileges are required, and code execution additionally depends on MySQL permitting writes to a web-accessible path.
