Arbitrary code execution via allowed File Explorer
Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Improper access control in ScaleFusion Windows MDM Agent 10.5.2 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a kiosk escape. The agent places File Explorer on the default Multi-App Kiosk allowlist, exposing a path to launch applications that kiosk policy did not authorize. Exploitation requires local access to a Windows device using an affected Agent-based kiosk configuration and permits code execution outside the intended restrictions.
