CVE-2023-50053Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account access via nonce-free signature replay

Published Apr 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Authentication replay in Foundation 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access another user's account with a captured Web3 signature. The login message omits a nonce or timestamp, so the backend accepts the same signed challenge more than once and issues a fresh token. Exploitation requires obtaining a victim's valid signature; replay grants account access and exposes information associated with that account.
