Unauthorized database backup via tokenless request
Published Dec 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Dreamer CMS 4.1.3 allows remote attackers to trigger database backups through an administrator's browser. The /admin/database/backup endpoint accepts a tableName-bearing cross-origin GET request without an anti-CSRF token or origin validation. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to load or submit an attacker-controlled form, causing the selected database table to be backed up.
