Stored script execution via unencoded term name
Published Mar 7, 2024 · Updated Dec 5, 2024
Stored XSS in School Fees Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through a crafted tname parameter. The term-management handler accepts the supplied term name, and the resulting term page renders embedded markup as executable HTML instead of neutralizing it. Administrator term-management permission and subsequent viewing of the stored value are required, with execution confined to the viewer's browser context.
