Administrator-session script execution via unencoded customer firstname
Published Mar 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Customer Support System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The save_customer action stores the firstname value as submitted, and customer_list renders that value into HTML without neutralizing script markup. The published reproduction requires login to create or edit a customer and a later customer_list visit, so execution occurs in the visiting user's session.
