CVE-2023-49950Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Sensitive-data theft via unsanitized Jinja alert rendering

Published Feb 3, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Stored XSS in Logpoint SIEM 6.10.0 through 7.2.4 allows remote attackers to steal sensitive data through crafted log entries. The Alert Incident Data view passes normalized log fields into a Jinja template without sufficient neutralization, allowing HTML event handlers to invoke jQuery globalEval and run JavaScript in the viewer's browser. An alert rule must include the attacker-controlled field, and a user must open Incident Data; default alert templates can meet the template condition.
