Authorization bypass in Forgejo before 1.20.5-1 allows remote attackers to read or alter private repository data through crafted identifiers. API and web endpoints authorize the repository named in a request but fail to verify that the supplied issue, comment, release, or other object identifier belongs to that repository. A request only needs sufficient permission for the repository named in the route; the target object can belong to an unrelated private repository, enabling content disclosure, modification, or deletion.
