Unauthenticated internal endpoint access via Eventing cURL
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
SSRF in Couchbase Server before 7.2.4 allows remote attackers to reach the local /diag/eval endpoint through Eventing SQL++ cURL. The Eventing Service fails to prevent SQL++ cURL requests from targeting the server's localhost /diag/eval endpoint, crossing an intended host restriction. CISA assesses that no privileges or user interaction are required, but Couchbase has not published the evaluated operation or a more specific resulting action.
