Missing encryption in Samsung Exynos baseband software allows remote attackers to expose cellular data via crafted RRC format types. The baseband software accepts RRC-specified format types without properly validating that the selected format preserves encryption, leaving affected traffic unencrypted. Exploitation requires network delivery of crafted radio-resource-control signaling, and the published impact is limited to confidentiality loss.
