CVE-2023-49907Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unbounded band copy

Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in TP-Link EAP225 5.1.0 and EAP115 5.0.4 Radio Scheduling allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The shared schedule-save handler passes the band field to strcpy_until, which copies it into an eight-byte stack buffer without checking input length. A valid management session and a crafted HTTP request with an operation other than read or load permit code execution on the access point.
